RYSTA @ FUTURE: PropTech 2019 in London

FUTURE: PropTech is the world’s No. 1 PropTech event, taking place in various cities all over Europe. On May 14th it was London’s turn and of course RYSTA had to be there!

Over 2,000 real estate & technology leaders got together to collaborate, exchange ideas, share common challenges & discuss solutions.

The focus was placed on two main topics:

Mega Trends: The real estate sector is being fundamentally changed by global trends such as urbanisation, demographics & technology. Radical Mobility, As-A-Service Economy and Autonomous Vehicles are the three interconnected mega trends guiding innovation. Real Estate has a participation in all of three mega trends by providing the infrastructure needed for those megatrends and for it’s buildings to become smart. The most important mindset change for Real Estate is that access will become more important as storage.

FUTURE Is Now: The second main topic featured case studies, on-stage demos, success stories & “How To” guides of the technology that is already being deployed by leading real estate companies.

Buildings are transforming to autonomous, smart organisms. What started some decades ago as automated buildings, where systems were used to monitor and control, is slowly mutating into smart buildings with data analytics, data availability, IoT/connectivity and virtual models. The future is the internet of digital twins where all buildings are connected and able to speak to one another.

Great discussions and interesting speakers made this event a fantastic experience. RYSTA is definetely looking forward to the upcoming FUTURE: PropTech 2019 events!
